Background:
Our client, a significant player in the Pharmaceutical & Commercial Printing market, is looking to add a Business Development Manager to their team.
Role Details:
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who has generated a minimum of €500k in the last year, with a desire to earn over €100k in the next 12 months. Those with an entrepreneurial mindset, who sell on value and thrive on uncapped commissions, should apply.
Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager’s responsibilities include:
Carry out market intelligence and identify and prioritise key sectors to target
Identify potential new clients within these sectors and introduce the appropriate range of services
Qualify each opportunity & develop accounts from prospects through to a deal
Identify the prospective clients' key decision factors and build a compelling proposal and present this proposal to the client team
Manage the response to specific tenders & bid responses, acting as the internal lead responsible for completion & submission
Maintain and ensure that your activity reports and sales pipeline are updated in real-time
Provide reports on your individual sales metrics to incorporate all activity including business won and lost and sales budget Vs actual at weekly & monthly sales meetings
Ensure that regular formal and documented business reviews are carried out with key clients
Ensure that sales targets are consistently achieved
Personal attributes:
Previous experience in a Litho and Digital Print background
Excellent hunting and closing skills
A good understanding of the print manufacturing process is a plus - as is knowledge of Financial Services, Retail, Pharmaceutical and Government
Package on offer:
Permanent, full-time position
Salary - Base + Commission - OTE €100k (basic dependent on experience)
Motor allowance plus expenses
