Background:

Our client, a very large player in the oil industry, is seeking a Forecourt Branding Coordinator to join the team. The role is based in their Dublin City Centre Head Office but will require 2 - 3 days travel on a weekly basis to their Dealer network nationally (a branded company car will be provided as part of the role). Main Purpose of Job:

The primary function of the role will be to protect and develop the client’s brand at the company’s network of circa 200 forecourt service stations throughout Ireland. The individual will work closely with the Head of Retail and the Retail Administrator to ensure the brand signage and brand collateral at each of our forecourt sites is represented to minimum standard requirements.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Brand Audit programme, inspecting forecourts on an on-going basis to ensure the company’s brand at each site adheres to minimum standard requirements

  • Manage the on-boarding of new sites with all relevant stakeholders, which will include planning, scheduling and snagging forecourt signage and the co-ordination of any site launches with the company’s Marketing Department within budget and timeframes

  • Act as the point-of-contact for all branding queries from Forecourt Dealers, Business Development Managers and the Marketing Department

  • Plan and schedule field service calls with third party branding partners to ensure the effective and timely resolution of branding and associated maintenance issues

  • Liaise with Marketing Department and Forecourt Dealers to ensure all relevant marketing and promotional requirements are discussed and implemented effectively

  • Suggest cost-effective branding and process improvements where possible

  • Ensure efficient de-branding of locations in a timely manner and within budget

  • Promote engagement at sites and sharing of activity for online media and PR opportunities with the Marketing Department

  • Liaise with Marketing dept. to organise Retail trade shows and ensure that all relevant marketing material is requested in a timely manner

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of Forecourt Dealer conferences and hospitality events where required

  • Operate, at all times, in a professional and customer friendly way to protect and develop the company brand nationwide

  • Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required

  • Note: this may on occasion include a few hours’ weekend work but should be exceptional and known well in advance

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Full clean Driving Licence is essential

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on protecting and developing a national brand

  • Strong administrative skills to ensure work is organised and efficient

  • Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative, within set deadlines and budgets

  • Team player who will provide support to colleagues

  • Customer focused with effective communication skills and a professional demeanour & telephone manner

  • Proficient I.T. skills essential, in particular MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and issue resolution

  • Proven experience working with brands or other similar role within industry would also be an advantage

  • Third level qualification in Business, Marketing or associated discipline an advantage
