Background:

Our client, a major Irish insurance brand, has a newly created role which presents a great opportunity for a Junior Product Executive to join their digital team. 

There is a big drive in the business to get customers to purchase products online. This position is in a strategic focal point of the business. 
 
The successful candidate will help to drive the product development roadmap and build a best in class user experience. They will be the link between the design and development teams to make sure all business requirements are met. 

Main responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into user stories and specifications for the IT team
• Keep the customer at the centre of all developments
• Assist in the management of development sprints
• Develop the online properties to deliver a seamless customer experience, becoming a category leader in UX
• Focus on the key online objectives of increasing the proportion of total sales and renewals that are completed online

About you:

• Degree level preferable
• Coming from a technical or project background
• Strong understanding of ecommerce
• 1 -2 years digital / online experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with both Commercial and IT teams
• Excellent knowledge of insurance products
• Understanding of Agile teams and how they work
• Understanding of .Net, Java and Angular development is helpful
• Knowledge of UX
• Ecommerce Project Management skills
