About our Client:
Our client, a well-established & prestigious name in the hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced Night Manager to join the team in their North County Dublin premises.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all hotel operations during the overnight shift hours, focusing on Front Office operations, night audit and hotel safety/security, while ensuring a high standard & efficient service is provided to guests at all times.
Main responsibilities:
- To deliver to guests the highest standards of care and therefore ensure that customer satisfaction throughout their stay is in line with agreed standards
- To ensure the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness of the Front Office is always maintained
- To provide cover in the absence of the Front of House Manager dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise
- To manage the night shift in the department ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate Front Office activities with other departments
- Inform all Night shift staff of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests
- Ensure the accurate completion of the daily night audit in a timely fashion. Must be able to perform the full night audit if needed
- To be flexible in approach to working across a wide range of audit assignments and working on multiple teams
- Assist the Front Office Manager in implementing and enforcing financial controls throughout the department
- To maintain a professional and high-quality service orientated environment
- To complete all duties and tasks with due care for the Health and Safety of yourself, hotel employees and guests
Personal Specifications:
- A natural leader of staff
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills
- At least two years’ experience working in a similar role
- Experience with Opera / Fidelio
- Excellent command of the English language
